McMiekens – Extension

In this major renovation, we extended a family home, adding a spacious kitchen, living, dining, bedroom, and alfresco area. The first stage involved building these new spaces, creating a modern 2 pac painted kitchen with sleek stone benchtops. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the open-plan living and dining area, offering the family a more functional and comfortable layout. The alfresco area, featuring Merbau decking, provides an inviting outdoor space, perfect for enjoying the warmer months.

Once the new extension was completed, we moved into the existing home to transform the old living area into a luxurious master suite. The previous kitchen was converted into an ensuite, and a former bedroom was remodeled to accommodate a walk-in robe and a study, creating a private retreat within the home.

The project, which took 8 months from start to finish, not only enhanced the home’s functionality but also increased its energy efficiency, making it more comfortable year-round. The homeowners were thrilled with the result—a home that now meets their needs with modern spaces for both relaxation and entertainment.
