Longstaff – Kitchen
Our client initially approached us with a kitchen that had, over time, become a tiresome space. It was a kitchen that was visibly worn, starved for adequate storage and lacked the spark that could inspire culinary creativity.
However, we viewed this not as a challenge but as an opportunity for transformation. We envisioned a space that could be both functional and inspirational, a kitchen that would once again pulse with energy and life.
The first stroke of our transformative brush introduced a bold kitchen colour. A dark, rich blue now casts around the kitchen, its depth and intensity breathing new vibrancy into the tired space. This bold choice in colour has effectively revitalised the kitchen, transforming it into a captivating canvas.
A beautiful choice of white marble stone for the benchtop further elevated the space. The pristine, shining stone serves as a stark contrast against the dark blue, creating a striking visual dynamic that is both elegant and inviting. The white marble doesn’t just provide a surface for meal preparations; it provides a timeless centrepiece around which the room revolves.
We completed the transformation of the kitchen with the installation of a clean, crisp glass splashback. The glass brings a modern touch to the space, reflecting light around the room and enhancing the sense of spaciousness. Its glossy surface mirrors the elegant aesthetics of the rest of the kitchen while also offering practicality in ease of cleaning and maintenance.
In essence, through the introduction of a bold colour palette, a carefully chosen marble benchtop, and a modern glass splashback, we breathed life back into this once uninspiring kitchen. Today, it stands not just as a place for cooking but as a testament to how thoughtful design and execution can transform a tired space into an inspiring, vibrant heart of a home.
