Bathroom Renovation – Ashgrove
Our clients approached our team with the vision to infuse a modern feel into their older home's main bathroom and ensuite area. To achieve this, we commenced a comprehensive overhaul of both spaces, starting with a complete strip-out.
The main bathroom has undergone a remarkable transformation, now displaying a clean, fresh, and comprehensive atmosphere. Upon entering, you are met by a spacious fresh room fitted with crisp white subway tiles, complemented by elegant grey floor tiles sourced from Beaumont Tiles. The addition of sleek black fixtures and fittings from the Reece Plumbing collection adds a touch of sophistication to the space. By cleverly redesigning the layout, the bathroom now feels significantly larger, with a striking free-standing bathtub taking centre stage as the main facial point, replacing the outdated built-in tub that was taking up needed space.
Moving into the ensuite, a seamless transition helps connect to the main bathroom, while maintaining its own individuality whilst still balancing with the overall modern aesthetic. A standout feature is the incorporation of a timber vanity and mirror, both wall-mounted to create a sleek and uncluttered appearance. The tile selection, again sourced from Beaumont Tiles, mirrors the flooring choice in the main bathroom, but with the addition of eye-catching matt glossed square tiles for the walls. This is further heightened by VJ panel boarding, providing a visually appealing contrast. The inclusion of black fixtures and fittings ties everything together, completing the cohesive modern look of the space that our clients wanted to achieve in their plans.
Given that our clients are a family with high school-aged children, functionality was a key consideration throughout the design process. As such, the renovated spaces now boast high-end fittings and fixtures that cater to the needs of every household member, ensuring both style and practicality.
