Bathroom Makeover
Do you have an outdated, cramped bathroom that's crying out for a little tender, loving care, but you're unsure how or where to even begin? Take our latest reno as your guide! As most classic Queenslander homes go, they have a lot of character, but space? Not so much. Take this bathroom, for example. But guess what? We managed to work our magic and make it appear bigger than it was!
Now, you're probably scratching your head and wondering, "How on Earth did they pull that off?" Well, since we couldn't move the walls further apart, we decided to take a vertical leap of faith! That's right, folks, we're going up! By raising the ceiling height, we completely transformed the space.
Our dear client, who has renovated two other projects with us in the last year, had hopes to modernise the space, while paying respect to the Queensland heritage. So, we fitted the room with crisp, glossy white subway tiles that wrapped around the entire space, turning it from gloomy and outdated into a bright, timeless beauty with a dash of modern flair. The beauty of white tiles? They go with anything! To complete this, we used Omnistone grey floor tiles that tied in with the inset bath niche and flooring in the seperate toilet space. For that extra dose of heritage vibes, we threw in a vintage-style timber vanity and fittings from the Reece plumbing Kado Era collection – spot on!
We wanted to create a bathroom that ticked all the boxes, which was budget-friendly, completed on time, and what our client had envisioned the space to look. We were over the moon to be apart of this renovation and see yet another one of our client's visions come to life!
Take a look at what our client's had to say!
