We engaged Smith & Sons East Toowoomba to complete a complete renovation of our first house which my husband and I bought when we were very young and dumb and thought, we could renovate ourselves little did we know it was a far bigger job than two engineers could do on the weekends.  After meeting with 10 other builders over three years in an attempt to find the person to help our old lady of Queenslander sing again, we finally engaged them after seeing the amazing work they did with the next-door house. The quoting and planning phase was easy, and they helped me with every one of my questions and requirements, being a project manager there was a lot! 

When it came to the building process we were quite concerned after hearing stories from friends and family of the stresses and time taken up when building or renovating particularly with us living a long way from the site though this turned out not to be an issue as you couldn’t fault them there were no surprises that needed my review or mistakes that I needed to pick up on or decisions that needed to be made on the day. They think of everything and make the whole process incredibly easy. They also grew to know my style and vison better than I did and would by the end say this is the choice this is what I suggest, and it would be better than I could have imagined. They also are very good at sticking to the budget and keeping you inline we had a strict budget when it came to the build and they would come back to me when I made ridiculous expensive choices for tiling or baths saying that is overcapitalising here is a far more affordable option even though they would have made more money off me going with the more expensive option that fits with your style.  My friends and family nicknamed them “my sensible builders” and they really did save us so much money and keep my vison in line with my budget.  We cannot thank them enough for the whole process and the standard of finish is amazing, we have had many a tradie friends look at the house and admire the level of finish.  We are so impressed we are already working on our next project with them and look forward to doing many many more projects in the future.
